YW Architects 1. Who we are
This policy covers the “YW Architects” mobile app (the “app”), published by YW Architects (“we”, “us”), an architecture, interior design and urban planning practice at Office No. 313, Fortuna Business Hub, Near Shivar Chowk, Pimple Saudagar, Pune 411018, Maharashtra, India. 2. Who uses the app
The app is used by YW Architects employees and by our clients. Accounts are created for them by our administrators - there is no public sign-up. If you do not have an account, you cannot use the app.
3. Information we collect

| Files | Drawings, documents and photos uploaded to projects or sites. |
| Finance (clients) | Proforma and tax invoices and payment records. The app does not collect card numbers or bank log-in details. |
| Technical | App version and device type, used for support and to keep the app working. |
We do not collect your location, your contacts or your device's advertising ID, and the app does not use advertising or third-party analytics.
4. Why we use it
- To let you sign in and to show you only what your role allows.
- To manage projects, sites, documents and meetings.
- To record attendance and leave for employees.
- To share invoices and payment status with clients.
- To send you notifications and reminders about your work.
- To answer support requests and keep the app secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
6. Where it is stored and how it is protected
Data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mumbai region (ap-south-1), India. It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), access is limited by role, and sign-in tokens are kept in your device's secure storage. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and project information: while your employment or the project is active.
- Invoices and payment records: for as long as Indian tax law requires (currently up to 8 years).
- Attendance and leave records: for as long as required by our HR policy and labour law.
After that, information is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
Email privacy@ywarchitects.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.
9. Deleting your account and data
You can ask us to delete your account from inside the app (Profile → Delete account) or on our Delete Account page. We delete your sign-in account, profile, photo and personal details within 30 days. Records we must keep by law (invoices, payment and attendance records) or that belong to a project under contract are kept for the required period, then deleted.
10. Notifications
The app sends reminders and alerts about your work. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
11. Children
The app is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the dates at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
